This evening a board member posted a photo of the King of Thailand, and made a scurrilous allegation about him.
He also added a smart alec remark to the mod team, enquiring what we were going to do about it

I'll tell you what we did : I deleted his libelleous post, and suspended him for 1 year,
As soon as an admin member comes on line, I confidently expect for his suspension to become a lifetime ban,

So be advised : if you disrespect the Thai Royal Family, even for a laugh, you will be banned on the spot.
Zero tolerance... Zero Sense of Humor on the subject

And this means YOU! even if you have 5000 posts and are beloved by every member of the admin and moderating team.
No exceptions
Not a threat... a promise

Well said Murga, that is one topic that everyone should avoid.

If any Thai's are on the board then they will track you down and hunt you like a dog.

Anyone who can play jazz clarinet like the King is ok in my book. He has played with some of the Jazz Greats like Benny Goodman, Stefan Grapelli, Paul Butterfield and the like. No one can insult him in my presence. Bravo1.gif

Not only will it get the board in deep kimchee, but it's just a matter of common Respect. The man is KING, and should be afforded the respect anyone of such position deserves; especially as we're all such fans of HIS Kingdom...
