Friends,

Can anybody enlighten me with the ffg :

Are these two activities potentially dangerous?

Is advisable to receive an oral for a male here with a condom protection?

Do BGs like it.....how eager are they to kiss?

I faced problems in India & it was a horrible experience.

All things are possible. I even think that mosquito bites could transmit aids... but it has NOT been shown to happen, this is just my thoughts. I mean, sharing a needle ,,, that sounds like the same thing only this needle flys...

But Yes, you can catch things. Cipro in strong doses ( 2 grams all at one time) will fix most of them. but the chances of catching things are very tiny, unless you have an open sore in your mouth, or she has an open sore in HER mouth. Oral is usually safe if both people are not bleeding. That said, you can catch things, both Gon. and syph can be caught, but it is much less likely than sex for some strange reason.

It is said in the medical circles that straight sex is fairly safe for men. NEVER safe for the ladies ( unprotected ). Any tears, cuts, rips, or bleeding makes the chances of catching things much more likely.

Most will do BBBJ's but even doing that, the girl is taking a risk, since she is getting the fluids. The guy is just getting the smiles..... most of the time any way.

That is good to know. It seems to me that most of the BGs I have met like to kiss, some are very aggressive , like trying to suck the tounge out of my mouth. I like it though, of course.
I have never used a condom when I got a BJ, and have been safe so far, after about 30 or 40 times.

I've always wondered why giving a girl oral sex is low risk but hetero sex is not. It seems like you come into equal amounts of body fluid. It must have something to do with saliva in the mouth and the digestive tract.

Until recently, I was pretty oblivious to the risks associated with sexual activity - (an embarassing but honest confession)... Searching the web however does provide some food for thought :

Enjoy life, but enjoy it carefully!

Anything is possible.

I dont tend to cover up for BJ's but thats just me. The chances of HIV transmission are almost null but there is a chance.

I ALWAYS cover up with sex though.

Also, I tend to pick and choose the girls I go down on... its an imperfect science, to say the least, but I have never been dinged.

I also tend to take antibiotics profilactically though.

Your partialy right, saliva is a hostile environment for carriers of some STDs. The reason hetero sex is more risky, for females, is the chance there is an abrasion or tear internally which would be an enty point for STDs. The injury may not be felt or be just soreness. Men rarely have that entry point during intercourse

No way. Just to be clear, you were the recipient, correct?

I thought it was next to null to catch something that way.

OK, from a medical doc here, some tips:

Oral sex and semen swallowing carry a very, very low risk of HIV infection. While some recent studies have suggested it may be zero, there are definitely case reports and individual experiences that support that HIV can be transmitted through oral sex, although it seems to be rare. It may be possible to take this concept further and reduce an already low risk activity to a lower risk one, the thinking would be that no semen would be safer than some, but truthfully there is no scientific proof in this area yet. There seems to be even a lower risk of transmission in people who receive oral sex and I am not aware of any case reports that document getting oral sex as a way to get HIV.

Receptive anal sex is the riskiest form of sex. HIV is in pre-cum -- the fluid before ejaculation, so even if the inserter pulls out, infection is possible. Men do get infected from both anal receptive and anal insertive sex but anal receptive sex is about 10 times more risky. Some numbers that some folks quote is 1 in 50 vs. 1 in 500 chance of infection from receptive vs. insertive anal intercourse.

Kissing: There are many biological reasons why transmission through deep kissing, even when tasting blood, is very, very low. Other STDs like gonorrhea, herpes and syphilis have been transmitted this way, although rarely. Kissing poses no significant risk for STDs. Other activities like mutual masturbation and dry humping (sometimes called frottage) are also considered safer sex activities with little to no risk for sexually transmitted diseases.

Barebacking carries various risks of STD transmission even without ejaculation -- herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis infections can all be transmitted without any cum present. HIV has been isolated from pre-cum and could theoretically be transmitted even without full ejaculation. Of course, the risk of transmitting HIV without ejaculation is definitely lower than with ejaculation, but there is still some risk involved.
