me and me mate were at a pub the other day discusing his wife and how much how high maintenance she is this is after a lot of pints we come to the conclusion what is come down to waiting for woman to do shopping waiting for woman to change clothes or the 5th time before going out putting up with attitude any time of the month and money and there ability to disobey and just be dam right argumentative any op9ions welcome lol

To put it simply, I think women will give you as much shit as you are willing to take. They test you to see where your boundaries are, as to how much you will tolerate. If you don't let them know where your personal boundaries are they will determine them for you and it won't be in your favour. When it reaches this stage they have a "High maintenance" attitude.

These women will then carry these high maintenance attitudes around with them because they have been accepted by one or more men. The solution is to not tolerate these behaviours by letting the woman know that you are willing to end the relationship rather than tolerate unreasonable behaviour.

I find a slap usually brings her back in line!!!

I agree with this. I'd like to extend it though as I don't think it's typical female behaviour. This also goes for men (just notice some of your asshole colleagues!), children (the spoilt ones) and pets (badly trained dogs e.g.). If you're not clear, they'll walk all over you. And why not? Up to you to define your boundaries.

Agree with the Doc, but you also have to be fair and consistent. If she waits around for you at the hardware store, you can wait for her at the shoe store. A lot of guys overlook all their wives do for them and use the cultural and economic gap to create a double standard.

Girls take much less time to do their makeup when they are going out alone then when they are with their man. In their minds, they are doing it to show other women how well they are cared for, and to give you face in front of your friends and family for having a good "catch". This may be meaningless for us, but it is not a selfish activity so I see no reason not to be patient and busy myself with something else.

Usually attitude is testing limits or looking for attention. Unfortunately with many women any attention is good attention, a fight is ok if it makes you stop what you are doing and focus on them. I hate to sound sexist, but reward good behavior, ignore bad, works for kids and dogs also, heck I'm sure it works for men. But if you give them attention for being a bitch they will just keep at it.

We both keep audiobooks on our phones. Whenever either of us are doing an activity for the other we find a bit dull we just grab a chair and put on the headphones until it's wrapped up.
