So i just download firefox......................just it overwrite internet explorer???
Never used it bryan?? Always used explorer.....................i know ha ha idiot....................lol. |

Both have there advantages/disadvantages. I find firefox takes up too many resources after prolongued use, (its called wasteage) so I need to shut it down regularly, the good thing about firefox, is that it has many usefull addons, such as spell checker (which i dont use yet lol) and session restore (saves what tabs you have open, so if it crashes, the tabs will come back up) There are some real good add ons out there, but I am aware that having add ons, may slow down your page loads, even though it makes your surfing more user friendly. I use internet explorer for viewing FLV files, such as youtube videos, as i can hear the sound, unlike on firefox, however that is a local issue (which i havent managed to fix) One advantage of having two (if you are on a shared computer) is that you can do all your dirty stuff on firefox, then when people access the internet via windows explorer, they wont get "dirty bangkok whore" flash up as they type in "di" in google. |

When you install firefox do you need to uninstall windows explorer is that possible??

I use Safari never had any problems I have a Mac with OS X
Safari is available as a free download for PCs I wouldn't know how it compares to the others although I did download Firefox to try it but went back to Safari I just find it easier. Al. |

Firefox will happily coexist with IE. A (very) few websites do not work properly with firefox, for these you will occasionally need to use IE. |
