Several BMs supported the school appeal at my wifes college.

We are now trying to buy them a computer but don't worry I am NOT asking for cash this time

We are raising 21,000 baht by selling books (we get 50-100 baht per book). I have put in my personal stash of around 20 that are just hanging around the house.

MANY BMs bring a book to read on the plane etc and then just leave it in their hotel room when they leave. Usually the hotel or the maids sell them on.

I would like to ask the following

1. Can you give them to ME instead?

2. If possible (luggage allowance allowing) can you bring a couple of old paperback with you. Im sure you ALL have a few stashed away at home that you can't be arsed to cart down the local charity shop.

Don't worry I promise not to tell anyone if you are a secret Agatha Christie reader LOL.

I am going to try and arrange a central collection point but if not I will come and collect.

If you are going to make this a permanent thing then I can certainly bring a few with me in August.

I would suggest however that you bump this thread to the top of the list every couple of weeks to remind boardies (and me) of what you are doing.

I have so many books lying around the house, and I'll be glad to give them up. But unfortunately I do not know when I will be back in LOS next. But once I do I'll PM you.

I will give some to whoever is going over if they can take them, otherwise i would post some as not sure when i will be in LOS next!
