11 People arrested for Gambling in Forest.


We joined a team of Police and Volunteers from Bang Sarai sub-district led by Police Senior Sergeant Major Winai. He had received a tip-off that a gambling event was taking place in a forest in Bang Sarai. The officers and volunteers arrived and arrested 7 women and 4 men who were caught playing “Hi-Low” for money. Dice and a small quantity of money were seized as evidence. The group were charged with gambling which is an illegal activity here in Thailand and were fined and released later in the night.
