1. Dehli Spice Beach Rd bottom of Soi 6 next door to The Stone Oven
2.Tandoori House Soi 12 Beach Rd
Both look pretty clean and reasonably priced, i picked up the menu from Tandoori house this afternoon and it looks pretty impressive, i shall give it a try within the next week or so and do a bit of a report for you guys on it !!

Sorry reirethai I don’t really understand your question. All the Indians I know are outside Sukhumvit Road Pattaya; or are you talking east of Sukhumvit?

My favourite Indian is on Beach Road near Soi 10. I have used it since they opened around 7 years ago.

The missus also thinks that it is the best place for Yum Talay aswell!! wacko.gif

I got dysentary from that one a few years ago.
My 1st meal too, bad way to start a trip.

Get a door2door menu they have a few Indian Restaurants on their books and deliver to East.

Other places for good (westernised) curries are

NeeRoys - Soi Chaiyapoon - Bradford Style i.e. sloppy with big chappaties

Ace Cafe Jomtien - nice with big portions and big chicken pieces.

The best curry i had was, believe it or not, in a German bar in Naklua where they actually used mutton for the real thing.

If you want more "genuine" articles there lots of small curry houses (serving up Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi food) in Banglatown where the clientelle is mostly Indian guys. Theres a nice Veggie Indian restaurant there.

Im not sure the Soi name for Banglatown but if you come out of Shooters Bar - turn left to 2nd road it is right opposite you on the other side of 2nd Road. Its a long soi that goes behind Tukcom etc. The said restaurants are all CLOSE to the 2nd road end.

I have tried the Tandoori House as it is next door to a bar I take care of. The place use to be a bar called Helicopter Bar.
Clean and well priced. They have also introduced a Western and Thai menu this past few days as they have a additional Chef now and they open for Breakfast from 9am and close at 1am.

They also use real Mutton.

Hi Mate,

Sorry you miss understand my post. The Tandoori House Indian is next to the bar I look after. The tandoori House use to be the Helicopeted bar. She if it is the women you know will be opening up where the 145 bar is now in 2 months time. The 145 bar currently run by ex owner of Helicopter bar sister. She will subsequently open another bar which will be again next door (As you walk from 2nd rd towards Beach Rd) and is currently a shop.

Complicated I know so I will post a map to explain later when I know the new name of bar which will replace the shop.
