I'm a 40 year old guy, 6'-0", 185lbs/84kg. I'm not in top physical condition but I don't have any cardiovascular issues that I'm aware of nor do I get easily winded. I can usually hump with varying levels of intensity for an hour or so without keeling over from exhaustion. I wake up most mornings with the kickstand in the down position and during any 'on-demand' occasion, getting it up and keeping it up isn't a problem unless I'm completely cross-eyed shitfaced.

Now the younger guys are prolly saying, "who gives a shit?" and maybe some of the older guys are saying, "so what the fuck is the problem, quit complaining". Well, on the last two trips I've made to the LOS I found that for at least four or five days after arriving I have had a difficult time maintaining erections. I also completely lose my appetite. I'm sure the problem has to do with the 12 hours of jet lag, fatigue and general lack of physical conditioning. Before I reach for the Provigil and Viagra I thought I'd reach out to this community and see if there was anyone else suffering from these symptoms of jet lag and has discovered the magic cure. Maintaining erections is not one that is covered by the usual "cure your jet lag" websites. Suggestions?

Sorry. I have been commuting between Europa and East Asia for years and years, and I never found a cure to avoid jet lag. I always suffer for three to four days from not being my true self. In both directions. I try to relax on those days as much as possible, moving into the swimming pool often, read mystery novels, don't expect anything.
A biology teacher once told me - on a plane -, every transcontinental flight reduces my life expectancy by one week. Being in Thailand gives me a higher liefe expectancy, so I do not worry about that.
There is another factor which makes the jet lag worse. The difference in the climate. Coming from a Finnish winter into the tropical heat makes your circulation run amuck for the first few days. For me the best travel time is from European summer heat to Thai tropical heat. Only a few centigrades difference, if at all.

Airline staff use "Melatonin" (sold in the dugstore on Beach Road next to Walking Street and over the counter in USA)a natural hormone that the body produces to sleep, young children have the highest concentration of it, at the age of 70 you only have about 10% of your altime earlier high, so that's why older people have sleeping problems.

I was in a Motorcycle festival in Koh Cheng and one member was exhausted from 5 days jetlag, I gave him 5 x 3mg Melatonin, he took one and a half (4.5mg) and was very fresh/energetic in the next morning after 11 hours sleep.

I never've jet-lag since I started using Melatonin.

Another thing about Melatonin, take it before sleep after long-hours-out-on-the-town, you get the extra longer deep sleep and feel like going to the Gym when you wake up.

Melatonin works for me, just take it 1-2 days prior to your trip and during your trip in the hours you'd be sleeping at the destination.
You might also try resting your first day/night in Pattaya(I know that's asking alot!), but getting alot of rest at the beginning will get you energized quicker and maybe you won't have the "gettin' it up" problem. Just some thoughts. Of course, there's always 1 Cialis pill to get you going those first 2-3 days! rolleyes.gif

It shouldn't really matter in Patts....There is no day/night...shagging/sleeping time zones..

- Eat when you are hungry
- Sleep when you are tired.
- Drink when you are with your mates
- Shag when you get a hard on

You could try these No-Jet-Lag Homeopathic Remedy Tablets, for Jet Lag I have tried them myself though.
