Hi Azzzey68

Heres a link to a resort that I stayed in. Its right on Chaweng beach and near to the nightlife, shops etc. Its a bit pricey but worth it IMHO.

http://www.baanchawengbeachresort.com/home.htm

I'm booked to stay here for a week on my next trip

Last time i stayed in Chaweng I stayed at Iyara Beach Hotel which is located at the north end of Chaweng Beach about 2 minutes walk to Koko Blues. They had 2 bedroom suites available. I wasnt mongering at the time but i did notice people bringing BG's back and there didnt seem to be a problem.

I booked via At Siam and got the suite at about a quater of the price mentioned on the Iyara website.

I have stayed at the Montien House for the 5 or 6 years. www.montienhouse.com Right on Chaweng and a few minutes walk to Soi Green Mango etc.

I generally get a room right at the entrance. It is a separate builing but the rooms are very big. Room numbers there begin with 4...405, 406 etc. The last time I was there I stayed upstairs in a suite (407, I think). Really big, pretty basic, but comfortable.

One night there I came back late one night with 2 TG's in tow. Opened the door and was greeted by a fucking snake. I don't think he was poisonous but I nearly shit myself. Definitely a fast way to sober up!! Called a security guy who got rid of the snake with a sweeping brush.

The only problem that night is that the snake scared one of the birds so I had to settle without a threesome.
