My missus had the traditional Thai nose. You know that small flat cute ones that we all love so much. For years I've been catching her pinching it to see what it would look like being like a Westerners nose. For 2 years she has pestered me about getting a nose job and I finally caved in a couple of weeks ago. The deal is I go diving in the Andamans for crimbo and she gets the nose job. The procedure took about 1 hr and the results were hurrendous. She looked like she'd been in a right punch up. The swelling didn't go down for a week in which time she wouldn't leave the aprtment due to embarrassment. The swelling has gone down now and to be honest I can hardly tell the difference. That's 15000 bht down the drain. She likes it though so money well spent in that respect.
The other thing that gets me is these lotions!!..........Whitening lotions/skin lotions that cost a bomb!! and donit do anything They're like 1000-2000 bht a pop for these little bottles of "special" lotion. The beauty shop on our street doesn't help much putting on the hard sell for the latest lotion she's using that my missus must have. Of course we can't deny our lovelies these bare essentials in life but damm they're so expensive. Was wondering how everyone else feels about this or is it just me being stingy???

Whiting lotions are a scam, even more so because most Thai girls don't bother to cover up against the sun. Kat (the wife) likes to stay light, so carries a parasol (umbrella) on sunny days. Less hassle than sun block and works well. She checks online beauty forums and reviews first, I like my wife to look good and I have no problem buying stuff that works, but I won't shell out money for snake oil and neither will she. Most of it is snake oil, prices are set high not because it's better, but if it's expensive girls assume then it MUST be good.

Simple answer to this one "As much as you let her spend". The same applies to shoes and virtually any other item "essential" to women"
