Just wondering, are weekdays busy at Poipet or better to go to Pong Nam Ron? Haven't been there for a few years.

I'm closer to Poipet, but if the queues are for hours might drive on to the other border post?

Cheers

The one closest to Pattaya (sorry not sure the name) has a few minutes turn around - certainly all done by the time you come out of the buffet lunch. I went with a mate on Friday. We left Pattaya at 7am and were back by 2pm. Picked up dirt cheap whisky and gigs.

Cheers, probably go to that one then (Pon Nam Ron it's called on Thai side) from Bangkok as cannot seem to get any news on how long it takes at Poipet these days....
