Did something a bit more offbeat and touristy this weekend and visited this place, its not a temple more of a Buddhist training centre. Well worth a trip if you like something a little different!

Bang Saen (about 40mins west of Pattaya) is a nice little coastal village that is mainly a Thai weekend retreat. I read about the hell garden a few months back and finally got round to visiting! Also paid a visit to monkey mountain and ate seafood at one of the restaurants overlooking the beach.

I live about 15minutes away from Bang Saen and was going to live in an apartment on the same soi as Saen Suk!! Didn't know it was located there when I viewed the apartment though.

This was I was thinking PS been to this in Korat never knew there was more than one around LOS

It definately looks like a different sort of place.

I do have a question. Wouldn't 40 minutes west of Pattaya put you in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand!!???..tongue.gif Maybe that should be north?
