Hello All,

For those who have been successful at bringing their TG to their respective countries, congratulations!! After reading many useful posts regarding obtaining the tourist visa i was wondering about the evidences one has to provide, specifically emails and photos..

Many of you mentioned that you have prepared x yrs worth of emails and photos... do you make a digital printout of the photos or just photocopies? and how many emails do you actually print within the x amount of timeframe...eg. print 2 emails per week for x yrs or daily prints?? wacko.gif (alot of paper!!)

Thanks~

It is imperative that you 'prove' your relationship with your teelack...Doesn't have to be every single bit of correspondence or picture but a hand full from the start of your relationship, some from the middle and recent proof.

Send originals photos as they take copies of them and return your originals and make sure you write a couple of lines about the photos i.e. who, where, when etc...Just paste about 3 pics per A4 sheet and add your comments.

If you do not prove your relationship, the majority chances you will be declined...Though that doesn't mean you cannot re-apply the following day with more info

You need to supply two very important bits of information that will help people answer this question properly. What country are you trying to take your GF to? What type of visa are you after? /are you after a permanent visa or a visitors visa for her?

If its UK Visa you need to prove your relationship history etc.

Telephone bills

Money transfers

Photographs

Hotel bills

Anything that can link the two of you together must be included with the application. If your partner owns land or a property include the documents with the application. The biggest reason for refusal is on the balance of probabilities the ECO does not believe she will return to Thailand therefore your application is refused.

Thanks for the all the advice given here..wouldnt hurt to get some more info from you, Mr. AZZZEY68 and others.

Another question i'd like to ask is about finances...I'm sure it helps to have more money in the account but is it a requirement to have xx amount in there?
She is not a BG and has a decent job but pays for loans, family etc so not awhole lot of savings..

Also i cant say i make alot of money as well so is that gonna be a problem as a inviter? (have more than enough to cover her expenses)

she intends to stay for 2 weeks as she is required to resume her work when returning.

thanks again for your help!! biggrin.gif

I think you can avoid copying a bunch of emails by just printing the pages of emails received and sent. I did that on my Yahoo mail account and I have about two years worth of all the subjects of the emails, the date, the size and who it was from or to. Photos are wonderful and show and prove a lot. I am currently working through a fiancee visa for the US and it is going well. Got it approved here in the US in two months and we are just waiting for interview date now and I sent maybe two emails, no phone records but did send pics from every visit that showed me and her, her daughter, me with family members and I put the month and who was in the pics on the back. I also photocopied every passport page that had the arrival and departure stamps on it for my trips to Thailand that corresponded with the dates on the photos and in the letter of my intention to marry her, I also listed the dates of every trip I had made at the time of the filing of the first papers. I will go back and be there for the interview and I will have more evidence than they could possibly want to get their little hands on that shows the money I have given her, the history of emails, bank records, proof of my income, more pics, phone records and anything else I can think of. For a fiancee visa you don't need to have money in her account either. That's only for tourist visa.
