As a non british i wonder, where are the queens park rangers?

I remember them as a good team, regulary playing in the UEFA Cup in the late 70s/ early 80s. I saw them live as a child, when they played in germany. What happened to them?

QPR are in the championship these days with us (Blackpool) and like us they are not favored to go up this year.
