LK Royal Suite - One Bedroom Suite Review

I booked 14 nights for 42,000.00 Baht including breakfast, I booked through Hotels website as this seemed to be the best deal. This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel.

Staff

The reception staff are a bit hit and miss with one of them a bit snotty to your overnight quests, but they are all good and very quick with their jobs. The cleaners are nice and always helpful (this maybe due to the tips I gave) I even cracked a glass while drunk which never ended up on the bill.

Location

The Hotel is on Soi Buakhao close to the Central Road. It's quiet at night but can feel a little too far away from the action especially getting to Walking Street. There are Bath Buses going down to LK Metro which is a great, which also goes past a few little food markets.

Breakfast

I didn't manage to get down to breakfast during my trip, but did on the previous trip. They have continental buffet and a Menu for fried and cooked breakfasts. They are absolutely fine but nothing to write home about.

Room

I have attached photos of the room so there's not point describing much. I like having the suite because I prefer to have the separate areas, it's great coming back at night with your girl chilling out eating your street vendor food and then off to the bedroom leaving the mess behind. The room finish and bathroom was a lot better then the previous year, the Water Pressure was great. They updated the television to flat screens half way through the trip but are not in the photos.

Internet

They have wifi in the room now which is great. When I arrived the receptionist gave me 1 week free and told me to see them again if i wanted to buy more after the week. I don't know the precise speed, but it was good enough for everything I needed.
After the first week I went to buy access for another week, but they just gave me another week which was great

I also think booking LK Properties is cheaper on the ground - sometimes but not always

Thanks for the post. The price at this place is the reason I've never stayed there. For less that what you paid, you could have gotten a condo in VT that is as nice, if not nicer, than the pics you posted for a month!

14 nights @ 42,000 you could rent my house next time for 30 night if you like.
