Yes I have also looked at their brilliant reviews . I gave then a ring and a lady said they would get back to me to answer my questions , she could not answer but told me some guy ( canna remember name ) could .

No call yet . They are Abtol, atol etc, and everything looks rosy - but why so cheap ?

Does look good!!!

Prices do say at bottom of page "subject to availabilty" and does not say it includes tax.

Would be interested to hear how you got on.

Well they have been going for years , have good reviews on old forums , and are ABTA and ATOL protected .

I have just booked and been given a contract for a hotel in Patts , at less than half the price of any other travel agents I have researched .

So far all looks good .

They were all fairly up-market hotels, so which one did you pick?
tax included?

Booked the Armari Orchid - Ocean Deluxe room for 14 nights , all in for £575 . Room only .

Will sort out breakfasts when there . Do not think I can get cheaper than that .

I will update once we check in mid October .

I am not talking joiner fees or comparing hotels and location , this thread is about Travel agents and prices . Your information is irrelevant to this .

Another example is the Dusit Thani comes in at £579 for 14 nights compared to Agodas well over a grand .

Wow steady on there Cuthbert keep the blood pressure in check, we all appreciate you sharing the thread with us, but Global Traveller was just warning THOSE THAT MIGHT BE INTERESTED(ie 99% of BMs) that there are joiner fees.

20 x joiner fees would still make it cheaper than Agodas price, apparently.

Another comparison, 5* Marriott, beach road, 1 room, 8 nights in October £477. (no joiner fees here)

Agodas price is £69 per night + taxes = £552 + taxes.

Just goes to show that there seem to be cheaper alternatives out there, than Agoda.
