The way I see it, if they want me to come down to Jomtien and do a little dance in a chicken outfit to get a one month extension I would totally do it.

But yeah, for social media I'll give them my Playstation Network Account, they'll take one look at that and go... Oh my Buddha... He really doesn't have a job does he!

Bank statements, wage slips mortgage statement, letter from employer,gas bill, electric bill, water bill, proof of contact, photos of my place of work, photos of my house, photos of us together, Thai Immigration? No just some of the documents required by the British embassy in support of a visitors Visa application to the UK.

But that is different it is not a third rate Asian country that should bow and lick the feet of any UK visitor who deigns to slum it and help the locals out of their ignorance and poverty. The bloody natives should be grateful and should be still accepting some beads and perhaps a mirror (if they stay LT and are very good) in exchange for their services. Those who do runners or perform at levels that are deemed substandard by the superior UK traveler should still be able to be beaten and made to do the housework for a week

Dont the locals understand they are in the presence of greatness

Extended retirement Visa for another year yesterday.

Documents Required:

* Immigration form TM7 (with photograph attached);

* Embassy letter endorsing pension statement by former employer;

* Pension statement of former employer;

* Photocopy of passport ID page and all used pages.

Fee has increased to THB 1,900.

No evidence about address required, nor any new form about social media blah blah activities.

Note: This was at an up-country Immigration office, not Jomtien, which may have its own documentary requirements.

Yesterday I went to Chonburi Immigration in Jomtien for my 90-day notification and left in five minutes.
I was not asked to complete such a form.

Sorry, as long as I remember the fee for an extension has been 1,900 baht.

Would answers like 'Up to You' or 'Maybe' be acceptable?

Slightly different form now meant to be rolled-out across Thailand. Don't know how much will actually be compulsory to complete?

Thanks - looks more like a working draft than a finished form.

We'll see ...

Edit: The form doesn't appear on the Samut Prakan Immigration web-site.

CHONBURI (PATTAYA) IMMIGRATION NOT USING THE QUESTIONNAIRE ASKING FOR EXTENSIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION – Thai Immigration in Bangkok has been asking Expats renewing their annual extensions of stay or making their 90-day address report to complete a questionnaire that asks for such things as bank account numbers, parents’ names, social media sites that you visit, etc.  A member reports on his visit during the first week of May to Chonburi (Pattaya) Immigration on Jomtien Soi 5 that he was not given the questionnaire and when he inquired about it received a response to indicate there were no plans to use it.
