3wks stay recommendations

Planning to stay for 3wks late Nov to Dec and would like to be around Central Mall area, the closer the better.

Or a close walk to 2nd road to hop on the baht bus is fine as well.  No more than a 5min walk if possible.

Would like to stay around the 20k baht all in.  If utilities is separate, can someone advise what kind of rates I would be paying towards the end of my stay?  I like my room cold if that helps.

Preference:

Modernized layout, flat screen tv, mini kitchen, washer, gym, pool, good wifi, sofa.

So far Ive looked at The Base (18k excluding utilities) and VT6 Honeys (31k all in)

Any better deals out there, lets hear them.

If you are going to put the air con on 24/7 then I would advise you go for an "all in" deal.

Check the small print some put a cap on electric used that is free.

Of the two you have listed I would select VT6 ( if the room was a nice one in a good location).

You are very unlikely to get VT6 for your budget.

If you are going to be using a lot of aircon then probably allow 3-4K for utilities to be safe. I know most (all?) expats think I quite much too high for this but I’ve rarely had a bill for under 3000 baht when I’ve stayed in a condo for a month. It will depend on the rate per unit you’re charged as well.

Rental for the Holidays operate out of The Base. You’ll also find a number of condos on AirBnB. Other buildings that may suit your needs are City Garden, Avenue, Centara, Urban - though it’s not so easy finding short term rentals online.

If you aren't bothered about a gym there are loads of places. You could then pay separately for gym membership elsewhere. Pool also
