What is the best place to buy medical insurance for your Thai GF to visit you in Europe? Should you buy it in Thailand or Europe and what are some of the places others have used to find a good deal on this? I need to have a minimum of 30K.

Thanks

Thanks. I googled Mondial and found exactly what I needed. Best of all you can print it out as soon as you pay so all I need is the approved Visa and I am good to go.

IMO they are possibly the best as they link up with visa applications.

Good luck with the applications if you need any help feel free to pm myself etc.

Will do. Going to the Belgium embassy on Monday. Paperwork looked easy and feedback was that Schengen tourist visa for Belgium was relatively easy. Got all of the commune information certified as the financial sponsor, family composition, invitation letter etc and she did not need that much on her end. If we have trouble getting it I will give you a call to help.

I do have a couple of questions before I turn up on Monday:
1) I needed to get a letter from her employee that she could take time off work. Her mother owns bar and she works as Cashier in bar. Seemed a bit odd I would get a letter from her mother and what is stopping any person making this letter up from the interviewer perspective so this is what I did. She will bring legal documents to prove her mother owns the bar on Monday. Got her mother to write letter in Thai that she works for her. Took it to lawyer, they translatted it and wrote up a professional looking letter in English, mother signed it & lawyer notorized it. I figured if the question came up, I had legal documents to prove her mother owned the bar, letter from mother stating she worked in bar as cashier and could take 3 months off and law firm notorizing that the owner of bar signed letter. Did I do more than I needed as it cost a few BAHT to do this? Would the legal documents plus a hand written letter in Thai from her mother have been sufficient?

2) Should I attend the interview with her?

Thanks
