I know discos like Insomnia and its kind on WS are full of FLs but this question is geared for the discos that cater to a more local crowd like Xzyte and Hollywood. Are the staff officially available that is can you arrange with club managers to "barfine" a dancer or the hostesses upfront?

I undertand that Xzyte and Hollywood are usually places that you take girls from bars or gogos but on my last trip to Hollywood, I noticed a gentleman walking in by himself and then a few minutes later, one of the hostesses that were greeting patrons out front sat by him and started to drink and talk with him. Of course I was wondering if that is officially available OR is that something private between those two? Anyone with experience? If official, then I will ask the manager to arrange next time I see a cutie and would appreciate to know the prices beforehand. Otherwise, if it is a "private" matter, then will try my charm on the hostesses and maybe even dancers next time.

I don't think they are officially available but you can buy them drinks and meet them later I think. A few friends I know have been with the coyote girls in the bars you mention.

There's a big grey area with gals in Thailand, it's not always a case of them being available and you can arrange things with the manager or mamasan. Often gals working in entertainment spots are employed to do just a job (waitress, barmaid, reception) and it's entirely up to them if they want to have anything extra to do with patrons. When you deal with these cases it's not much different from chatting up gals back home: if she likes the look of you then you're on, if not then no dice. I suppose the only way to find out is ask someone. Whenever I'm uncertain what the protocol is at a certain establishment I'll ask the doorman or the captain. In the meantime it never hurts to flirt with the gals and see if they give you the come-on.
