Hi.
I would only book for 1 or 2 days at the first. Then you can check if you want to stay at you Hotel or you will change. If you book and pay for 3 weeks, and you find that you want to change Hotel, you will not got any money back. In April it will be a lot of available Hotel rooms in Pattay, so it is not any danger that you can not find anywhere to sleep.
As for Timboutique or Nova, i have no idea of quality. But they are in the upper price range, and there are plenty more affordable Hotel available.
As they say in Pattay it is up to you, but i would only book 2 nights in advance to check if i like the Hotel.
Hope this will help you a little bit

I don't know Nova, but I have stayed in Tim Boutique, and have written about it in another thread. In short it is very good, but the rack price is way too high. If you can get a good deal on agoda.com, or elsewhere (I paid about 1,500 baht per night) then go for it. It is a very nice, comfortable four star hotel in a good location.

Tim Boutique is the better of the two by far.
Had some golfing friends over here from the Philippines and they were booked into the Nova Platinum.
They were not overly impressed by the rooms, paper thin walls, hot water problems and a general run down look of the place.
Would also help in you could speak Russian.
