Could you enter Thailand with a "one way ticket" if you have a multiple entry Tourist Visa ?

Thanks for the info. I'll get a Thai multi-entry Visa as it's more convenient for my needs.

On most of the major airlines the one ticket will be in "Y" class (full flexible economy) and price will be the same or higher than a two-way. If return date is unknown there are multible cheap tickets which can be changed against a fee, typically 50 - 100 EUR

Yes you can but the immigration can ask you to prove you have funds to purchase a ticket to fly out of Thailand.

I have done so 4 times already. I've never been asked at the BKK airport to show "proof of onward travel" or money, but maybe that's just my luck.

One time I was told by Delta in the USA that I couldn't board my plane to BKK without a return ticket, but I showed them that had an onward ticket to Phnom Penh (with AirAsia) dated 28 days for after arrival and they let me on.

Technically you need an onward/return ticket and sufficient funds but you'd be extremely unlucky to be asked to provide this by immigration on arrival, especially if you are from a western country.
Occasionally, but rarely (its happened to me just once in nearly 20 trips) the airline may ask for return/onward ticket when you check in to fly.
This is because, if you are refused entry into Thailand, the airline you arrived on must fly you home at their expense, and pay a hefty fine for flying you without the proper documentation. Again, rarely enforced.

It is more likely that the airline will ask to see an exit ticket than immigration. If they are having a bad day they may not let you board the flight if you don't have one.

Have been working in the travel business for years and most tickets to LOS had to be issued as return tickets as the customers could be refused at check-in when leaving for LOS. Tried myself a couple of times now only bought a one-way. Never had any problems at all.

Have been to the Thai Embassy for a 60 days visa and even if the rules are to show a ticket they never asked for it and i only bought it after i collected the visa.

All the times i have been through immigration at Dong Mueang or Shewannaboomboom never been asked to show the return ticket. On the 30 day visa extempt i often just wrote a random flightnumber - no ? asked
