I booked a 4 month holiday flying into and out of BKK. :)
I just sent away my passport to get a single entry 60 day tourist visa.
I wrote that I will be exiting Thailand before my 60 days are up to go to Laos. I am hoping that will be fine and they issue me the visa.
Is it possible to get another 60 day tourist visa while spending a couple weeks in Laos? (I would have 4 previous tourist visas to thailand on my passport).
Then could I enter back into thailand by a land border crossing?
If anyone has any tips let me know
Thanks

If you go to Laos after 90 days (60days+30extension), stay there 2 weeks, and then come back to los by land and get 15 days, there's your 4 months. No need to get a new visa.

Are you actually planning a trip to Laos or you just wrote that on you app? If you don't leave los, you could get the 30 day extension, and then make two land border runs or by air and get that extra month. I've seen flights to PP for as low as 3600B return. No need for a new visa.

I know it is too late now but if you plan on doing something like this again apply for a double entry tourist visa.

Also check with your airline. Shouldn't be a problem as you have a 60 day but better to make sure before checking in. Also Scumbags multi entry visa advice is what you should do. If you have time you can still get one.

Thanks yeah I was thinking the multi entry visas were for one single 60 day period, but I guess I was mistaken.
Yeah I would like to visit Lao any way, so I think it will all work out. As long as immigration doesn't hassle me about having my return flight 2 months after my tourist visa expires.
Yeah I guess that is another option to get a 30 day extension = 90 days then go to laos during the last month.
Thanks for the ideas and thoughts.

Immigration won't care so much about your return flight. Your airline may care though as they are liable to repatriate you if refused entry.
