Hey,

I will be getting a 60 day tourist visa from the thai immigration in my own country (australia). Once in Thailand, I will try and go for the 30 day extension. The problem is my ticket to go back to Australia will be AFTER the 60 days. When i arrive in Thailand, will this be a problem? Won't they ask why my departure is after 60 days (before i have even been approved for the 30 day extension). Can I tell them that if my extension isn't approved, i can change the flight date?

Should not be a problem... They wont check on your departure on  your arrival.... When departing from Bkk, pay 500 bahts daily for extension after your 60 day visa had expired but if more than ten days, best go to Immigration Office in Jomtien , Pattaya.. No worries, I have done the same as you last year...

No problems , as you have a return flight they probably won't even ask you .
When they ask just tell them you gonna get a 30 extension at the immigration office .
Done this 3 or 4 times already never any questions .
