Make sure you give a local address, I nearly gave them my Bangkok add last week until  I was warned they can be funny about people not using their local office. Chaeng wattana area is flooded in Bangkok anyway so not sure what they expected me to do.

I just went up to Soi Five in Jomtien to extend for thirty days my tourist visa. I got there around 12 O'clock. From noon to 1 O'clock is lunch break but you can get the TM7 to fill out and ask for a ticket number. Perhaps they'd give you a ticket number as soon as you show at the desk that you've filled out your TM7 and have the proper paperwork. Proper paperwork was a photo, copy of Passport page, copy of tourist visa pasted in my passport, copy of the immigration form from airport staped to my passport. I took an electric bill that had the condo address on it (reallly wasn't asked for it but used to fill out the TM7). There is a table on your right as you enter that has examples of forms filled out already. When they started prossessing extensions at 1 O'clock I was 7th in line, it took about 25 minutes for me to be processed. Not a bad deal at all, efficient in my opinion and painless. As you face immigration building from soi 5 there are shops on your left, the last shop will make a passport photo for 50 baht, will copy passport pages for 5 baht a piece, 60 baht altogether was my cost. By 1:30 I was walking back down Soi 5 loving the sun and sound of the surf.

I think it’s actually Chonburi Immigration Office (Chonburi province).

I think that the context of my answer was that someone asked whether there was an Immi' office in Pattaya itself as opposed to Jomtien?

You may be right technically, but googling Chonburi Immigration doesn't get you far as only the old Expats Club calls it that AFAIK - are you one? :GoldenSmile1:

I stand to be corrected, but I think the sign down there says Pattaya Immigration and that's what they call themselves and tell you to write on the TM7 etc.

Anyway...............
