check out these links loads of usefull info
you have to put a case forward and convince the uk border agence she will return after any holiday and has funds to support her, from you or her, while she is away from thailand without using uk government funds.
you should be ok for proving your relationship if you have baby so that covers that one

For your baby, you need to get a visa for your baby unless he/she has got the British Passport after his/her birth registration at the British Embassy. So, you should think about that. As you mentioned something about DNA, is it the case that your name was not stated in your baby's Thai Birth Certificate. If so, the procudure is more complicated.
The fact that your GF had a tourist visa to Australia before. It may help her on one hand to persude the officer to believe that she is likely to come back to Thailand as she didn't take the chance to stay in Australia illegally when she was there on holiday. On the other hand it may affect her impression to the officer if she has just finished with this Australian boyfriend. So make sure you would mention that the reason for that separation is something to do with that Australian guy not your GF.
Normally, your GF should get her tourist visa easier if your baby is going together especially if your baby has a British Passport.
I don't think you need to worry too much if your application is prepared properly. Good luck !

Thanks for the Reply,
Its a long story so i wont bore you with the details but my name is not on the birth cert. Two seperate DNA results have both come back positive. Just want to do the right thing by the baby so ill be trying what ever i can.
