Happy new year!
We are looking for a hotel near the centre of Bangkok or to be in a good spot from where we can go everywhere. We read several about some hotels, so we want it clean, without rats and cockroaches or dirty sheets.
The price we are looking for is max 1000BHT. We don't have problem if it is near the sex action roads or far. We just want an easy access from it to the town attractions. What do you suggest us my friends?

Your max budget does leave you with too many options. The Woraburi on Soi 4 may be what you are looking for. Bit of a walk down Soi 4 but decent value. Clean and great rooftop pool.

Maxim inn on soi 7. Very close to nana and sky train. Cheapest double room round 968 baht.

I recommend Darjelling Boutique at Soi 18 around 1,200 baht.
The 200 baht extra that you pay will be worth it ... or you can stay at Pratunam area at Baiyoke Boutique Hotel @ 1,000 baht.

Nice seeing you here. Agree with you totally on Darjelling. However Baiyoke is not guest friendly.
