anyone had any experience in having to change date's of ther TGF visa, she appied and got a three month tourist visa in Jan, but from what I can see on the paper work is it starts the three month count down from date of issue. which would mean she has to return by april, she's never flown before and wont by her self. I fly over end of feb and have return tickets for us both end of march. I have three weeks there, and plan on going to the VFS office with her on the first day. I wouldn't think it was a issue, but has anyone else had to do this and was it easy and should three weeks be enough time to have it fixed up?

Maybe you can put up a scan . A visa normally starts from the date when you enter the country where it's for .

Yer thats what I though, but sort of reads like its valid for three months from date of issue? I have heard that maybe this is valid for three months to give you time to organise travel and stuff, but just want to double check. heard horror stories where a guy had his TGF here on a three month visa, well what he thought. 2 months 1 day he got a phone call that she has over stayed. he went straight to immigation and they said sorry and granted the extra month. only to find out once she left, because she has an over stay mark on her name she not allowed back for three years. he just said fuck it and went and married her 5555555

Yep its all sorted, Yes it's a three month Visa, and Yes its valid for three months, means she has Three months to organise travel. and the Three month stay starts from the day she get's here. just cleared it all up with immigration today.

Good luck with that Ippyboy. I and quite a few friends have been down this road. Three months, then six months, and spouse. None of our friends have broken up so far, and all appear to be content. Chok dee,
