Sterling versus Euro

Do some places give better rates for either or is all the same?
If I was to buy Sterling during the year without paying any commission would it be more beneficial than just bringing Euro's or does it really matter?
Will there be a big saving?

In the Banks the Baht is taking a "fix" off the American Dollar every second.....
Its then the "fix" taken between Sterling and the Euro to the Dollar that gives the split second exchange rate....
In reality we always get slightly less than the Interbank rate on average about 0.7 for the Baht.
In essence often you read guys saying they would love to get more Baht for your Euro or Pound but in reality its only the Pound/Euro strengthing against the Dollar that increases our "rate"
The best of all worlds is when Pound/Euro strengthens against the Dollar whilst the Baht weakens at the same time.......this gives a rapidly increasing exchange rate....
Hope to hell someone understands all that !!!!
