Tameli or temeli - what does it mean?

Recommended Posts

Bek

Hi,

I overheard a conversation between a farang and a Thai girl, one night in a bar. He kept on calling her tameli or temeli - probably misspelled.

I didn't get the chance to ask what he was saying, as they weren't exactly on friendly that night or being discrete about their difference of opinion.

Anyone knows what it means?

If they were having a disagreement he might have been saying "tam mai" which means "Why?"

Spot on - and your spelling makes more sense.

Thanks for the suggestions...
