Dave here from Canterbury Tales Cafe & Bookshop on Soi Chaiyapoon.

One of the best Thai books around at the moment is Private Dancer by Stephen Leather and he is coming to the bookshop here in Pattaya at the weekend and bringing me a fresh supply of them brand new.

Apart from displaying Private Dancer on our shelves I cannot be responsible for the copies we have sold unless maybe the fact that I have asked Stephen Leather to sign them.

It is simply that it is a bloody good read and can inform the novice about Thailand & what to prepare for a visit to the land of smiles, it is by far the best selling book on Thailand that we stock.

Cheers Dave

There is also a documentary being made on her life by a Swedish director.

We have had the book in Canterbury Tales Bookshop but generally it has had pretty poor review from customers who have read it.
